About the role
As a Driving/Classroom Instructor, you'll work hands-on with students behind the wheel — guiding them through practical driving, monitoring their progress, and helping them turn driving theory into real road skills. The role suits an experienced, patient driver who knows the rules of the road and can model proper, law-abiding driving for every student.
Responsibilities
Administrative
- Assist enrolled students and provide accurate assessment data and feedback to support their academic progress and proper recommendation
- Document and report student progress via class card / progress card, and assess whether students pass, fail, or need to retake
- Inform students when they are ready to take the driver's test
- Submit vehicle maintenance recommendations to the Branch OIC / Cluster Head on time
- Report any accident to the Head of the driving school within 24 hours
Operational
- Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to each student's needs, covering road safety, traffic rules and signage under R.A. 4136 and related laws, road courtesy, hand signals, and traffic violations and fines, plus basic automotive parts, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Teach practical defensive driving skills
- Help students build confidence in their driving
- Maintain control of the vehicle during emergency situations
Collaborative
- Interview, evaluate, and verify a student's knowledge and confidence to maneuver a vehicle (including gear changing) before actual driving — protecting both property and student safety
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree holder of any course (college graduate)
- Fresh Grads are welcome to apply
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing, driving, or other relevant field
- Holder of a 5-year Professional Driver's License with restriction codes 1,2 / 1,2,3 / 1,2,3,8
- Knows how to drive both manual and automatic vehicles, with basic troubleshooting ability
- Preferred: Driving NCII and Automotive NCII ( if any )
